Could a Girl Scout cookie be even more enticing if it’s in Krispy Kreme doughnut form?
Krispy Kreme and Girl Scouts of the USA just announced a “mint”-to-be collab — a whole doughnut collection inspired by iconic Girl Scout Cookie flavors.
The Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen is available beginning today, July 7, but just like the Thin Mints chilling in the icebox alongside your ice cream and frozen waffles, it’s only here for a limited time.
Here are the doughnut versions of the cookies that tiny, uniformed entrepreneurs hawk at supermarket entrances every year:
Alison Holder, chief brand and product officer at Krispy Kreme, called this collection “iconic” and added that the nostalgia baked into each doughnut is a “fun way to bring those familiar favorites” to fans of the cookies.
The Girl Scout Cookie Inspired Dozen will be available in-shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website.
Customers can buy them individually or by the dozen while supplies last, and a six-pack of three Thin Mints doughnuts and three Original Glazed doughnuts will also be delivered to select retailers.
Who’s ready to see if the Thin Mint doughnut is better frozen like its cookie sisters? We sure are.
