Brand Development Intern, Licensed Brands

Earthbound Brands is looking for a dynamic, detail oriented, high-skilled and extremely motivated person with strong business acumen who thrives in a youthful entrepreneurial environment. The Brand intern will work alongside our Sales, Marketing, Design and Brand Management Teams in the development and implementation of development new and existing brand relationships.

Here’s what you should know if you want to be a Brand Development Intern at Earthbound:

On any given day you might

  • Assist in developing brand strategy, vision, positioning and setting a consumer target.
  • Identify product categories and identifying retail opportunities for the brand.
  • Be the steward of the brand that supports the brand vision, brand position, brand architecture and helps achieve overall business goals for the brand.
  • Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Work closely with Sales, Design, Marketing and PR teams on overall strategic vision.
  • Analyze consumer trends and information, and help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.

The ideal person

  • Is a problem solver and demonstrates a real ability to think on the fly.
  • Possess great organizational skills, communication skills, presentation skills and have the ability to manage cross-functional team projects.
  • Has strong analytical and research skills
  • Must have strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Previous experience in Marketing, Retail or Sales – or surprise us with your background altogether.

 

Associate Product Manager

The Associate Product Manager is responsible for managing the product development lifecycle for the licensed business at Earthbound. This position will report to the VP of Brand Licensing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Steward of the brand that supports the brand vision, brand position, brand architecture and helps achieve overall business goals for the brand.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.
  • Manage, track and communicate the daily timelines and production of the product development cycle for the licensing programs. Administer all Product approvals through assigned approval software.
  • Adhere with Brand Standards for approvals of all product and packaging. Ensure compliance with the brand guidelines.
  • Organize and deliver pre-production and post-production samples.
  • Traffic and manage all creative assets around the brand.
  • Liaise with VP Brand Licensing, Senior Brand Manager, Sales, Design, Creative Services, Marketing and PR teams on all aspects of the product and brand development.
  • Analyze consumer trends and information, and help identify product categories to enter as future sources of growth.
  • Consistently comp shop the market – be well versed in our competition, pricings and where our opportunities are and understand what our competitive price / value equation is.
  • Assist in administrative tasks for the brand. 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Must exhibit excellent attention to detail and good organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Fast paced work environment requires strong multitasking skills, excellent time management, and a high attention to detail and manage cross-functional team projects.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, presentation, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Including the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personalities and styles.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Must have strong computer proficiency and working knowledge of MS Office. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Keynote, etc.)
